Sustainable Food For Dogs

play nice

With nature

We’re a nature-loving bunch and we want to become the world’s most sustainable pet food brand. We know we’re not perfect (yet) but it’s a paw in the right direction.

We’re stepping up to do more for the planet, with a commitment to sustainability goals including reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 (vs. 2020), achieving net zero emissions by 2050, and advancing regenerative agriculture on 1 million acres of farmland by 2030. We are also working to make 100% of our packaging recyclable or reusable by 2030, with no fiber from deforestation by 2025.

Our bags are made with 85% paper

Standing up for nature

Our bags use renewable materials, including 85% paper. When responsibly sourced, renewable sources can replenish.

Our trays are made with aluminum and are recyclable

Which bin?

Here’s a guide to show you exactly what to do with our empty packaging.

General Waste

Because metal doesn’t degrade, putting it in landfill is a huge waste of valuable resources.

Recycle

Give them a rinse and pop them in your recycling bin so they can be turned into new tins and cups.

Home Compost

Because metal doesn’t degrade, putting it in your home compost wastes a precious raw material and might damage your composting.

General Waste

As it's easy to recycle our packaging, please don't put your bags in the general waste as they'll end up in landfill. We want to give our bags the best chance at a second life (by being recycled!)

Recycle

Our bags are easy to recycle with your paper recycling. By popping them in your paper recycling bin you'll be giving them the best chance at a second life (by being recycled!)

Home Compost

Home composting is a slow and seasonal process, and we’d hate to mess up your system. One day, maybe.

Our dry food packaging is made with a minimum of 85% paper, and we're working on moving to fully recyclable packaging beyond our initial launch. We'll be 100% recyclable or reusable by 2030.
